My friend took me here recently and it really is a lovely little local. The menu is varied and the food is tasty which is why I was shocked at the price, it's all so cheap, 8 quid for a roast is really great value! The staff were lovely and the place was absolutely spotless. If you're looking for a cafe with no pretentious, a place where you can just be yourself and not have to perform like an animal in a zoo, then this is the place for you.

I had an incredible dining experience at Chimes Café in Peterlee Bus Station! The home-cooked food was absolutely delightful, and the corned beef pie, chips, and gravy were exceptional. The flavors were rich and satisfying, and the warm, welcoming ambiance made the meal even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious comfort food in a cozy setting. Five stars all the way! I'll definitely be returning for more of their delectable dishes. A 5-star gem for anyone craving a satisfying, home style meal!

Me and my partner have just visited this lovely cafe. We ordered quiche with chips, salad and coleslaw and shepherd's pie with all the veg and a yorkshire pudding. I have to say that my shepherds pie is the best I've ever had. The veg was crisp and the roasties were to die for. My partner loved his quiche with homemade chips and fresh salad. Very reasonable prices, with great table service. 10/10 from us. We'll definitely be back again.
